Belarusian telecommunications operators will conduct surveys on the quality of communication services. The Ministry of Communications and Informatization has approved instructions governing the procedure for conducting such surveys. The ministry’s Resolution No. 10 of May 22 was published today on the National Legal Internet Portal and will enter into force on June 7.
The surveys will be conducted through telephone calls and SMS messages. Their purpose is to assess customer satisfaction with the quality of telecommunications services, including but not limited to voice transmission quality and data transmission speeds, the performance of telecommunications networks, and customer service.
Surveys may be conducted at the initiative of an operator through a selected sample of subscribers. Another method involves surveying subscribers immediately after they have contacted technical support services or visited service centres if negative feedback was received as a result of that interaction or visit.
Subscriber surveys may be conducted between 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., except for surveys aimed at determining the unavailability of telecommunications services.
Subscribers may also submit a request requiring an operator to stop contacting them for surveys.
