Belarusian Railway will switch to a new train timetable on 14 December.

According to the company, the schedule provides for 376 pairs of passenger trains, including 26 pairs on international routes; 24 pairs on interregional business-class routes; 35 pairs on interregional economy-class routes; 10 pairs on regional business-class routes; and 281 pairs on regional economy-class routes, including 36 pairs serving the Minsk satellite cities of Zaslaŭje, Smaliavichy and Rudziensk.

All previously existing international routes are retained in the new schedule. From 15 December, an additional Lastochka train, No. 719/720 Moscow–Minsk–Moscow, will be introduced.

“From December 2025, through carriages will continue to operate on the Kaliningrad–Mineralnye Vody route (in winter) and the Minsk–Mineralnye Vody route (in summer) every other day, as well as the Minsk–Arkhangelsk route via Smolensk, Moscow, Yaroslavl and Vologda once a week. The Minsk–Samara international train will be included in the new timetable as instructed,” Belarusian Railway added.

Within Belarus, the route of interregional economy-class train No. 609/610 Hrodna–Homiel–Hrodna has been adjusted. In addition, a new group of through carriages will operate daily on the Hrodna–Homiel–Hrodna route via Minsk.

A new regional business-class train on the Minsk–Pinsk–Minsk route will run on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as on pre-holiday and holiday days. A regular Monday train has also been added on the Brest–Minsk route.

“Taking this into account, and following joint work with regional authorities to optimise services on low-traffic sections Lida–Benyakoni and Asipovichy–Hrodzianka, where passenger numbers are comparable to the capacity of a bus, railway passenger services on these routes have been replaced with bus services,” Belarusian Railway said.
