Belarusian House of Representatives Ratifies Customs Cooperation Agreement with Myanmar

The House of Representatives of Belarus has approved in a single reading a bill ratifying the agreement between Belarus and Myanmar on cooperation and mutual assistance in customs matters. The document was signed in Naypyidaw in November 2025.

The agreement establishes the principles and forms of cooperation between the customs authorities of the two countries, as well as procedures for information exchange and interaction in preventing and investigating customs offenses.

Presenting the bill, Uladzimir Arlouski, Chairman of the State Customs Committee, said that trade turnover between the two countries increased 2.5-fold in January–April.
