A Belarusian citizen was detained while returning from Lithuania. The reason was the possession of a prohibited substance.
The man was traveling on a Kaunas-Minsk bus. In the customs clearance and control area, a service dog indicated the possible presence of prohibited substances on the man. A jar containing liquid without a label was found among the Belarusian citizen’s personal belongings. An examination determined that it contained 16 grams of tetrahydrocannabinol.
A criminal case has been opened.
