According to the Dissidentby initiative, on March 13 a Belarusian citizen who had applied for international protection was deported from Poland.

Rights defenders do not have further details about the incident.

The Dissidentby initiative sent a request to the Polish Border Guard. In response, it stated that over the past 2.5 months, 192 Belarusian citizens have been deported from the country, both voluntarily and forcibly.

The Polish Border Guard also noted that decisions on the return of foreigners are made within individual administrative procedures based on the Law on Foreigners. Dissidentby points out that the Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees prohibits returning a person to a country where they face persecution or torture.
