Belarus’ ambassador to Venezuela Dmitry Derevinsky met with Venezuela’s Deputy Minister of Ecological Mining for Non-Gold Strategic Minerals Jesus Ricardo Mieres Vitanza.
According to the Foreign Ministry, the sides discussed intensifying cooperation in the mining industry, including organizing supplies of BelAZ haul trucks and related equipment. A plan of joint actions for the near term was outlined.
The ministry also published a photo of the meeting showing that the Venezuelan official received a miniature model of a haul truck as a souvenir.
