The Minsk Transport Police Department is conducting an investigation into the fatal injury of a man on railway tracks. The incident occurred today at about 1:20 a.m. near the Instytut Kultury railway stop.
A 26-year-old man was struck by a freight train. According to preliminary information, the accident was caused by a violation of railway crossing safety rules. The man was wearing a hood at the time of the incident, the Minsk City Executive Committee’s Main Internal Affairs Directorate reported.
