Belarus will receive 300 million yuan in technical and economic assistance from China. This is stipulated by an intergovernmental Agreement on Development Cooperation. The document was signed in Minsk on December 9 last year.
“The above-mentioned technical and economic assistance will be used to implement projects agreed by the Parties, including small and beautiful projects with limited amounts of assistance, characterized by short implementation periods and a social focus. Specific issues will be set out in separate agreements to be signed by the Parties,” the document says.
The assistance funds will be transferred between the State Development Bank of China and Belarusbank.
The agreement entered into force on the day of its signing.
