A Belarusian delegation is taking part in the 10th Review Meeting of the Contracting Parties to the Convention on Nuclear Safety. The meeting is being held at the International Atomic Energy Agency headquarters.
Belarus’ national report within the framework of the meeting will be presented and discussed on April 15. It was prepared and published last year.
According to the Emergency Situations Ministry, the Belarusian delegation includes representatives of Gosatomnadzor, the Nuclear Energy Department of the Energy Ministry, Belenergo, the Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant, the Joint Institute for Power and Nuclear Research – Sosny of the National Academy of Sciences and the Foreign Ministry. The delegation is headed by Deputy Head of Gosatomnadzor Ryhor Astashka.
