Belarus sharply increased gasoline supplies to Russia in October. This was reported by Vedomosti with reference to the St. Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange.
According to its information, 36.48 thousand tonnes of Belarusian gasoline were sold through the exchange in October — 47 times more than in the same period last year. Compared to September of this year, the trading volume almost tripled.
In November, 21.72 thousand tonnes of Belarusian gasoline had already been sold through the exchange in the first 19 days. This is seven times more than in the same period last year.
In September, 13.44 thousand tonnes were supplied through the exchange, or 20% more than in 2024.
It should be recalled that in recent months Russia has faced difficulties with fuel supplies. The government introduced restrictions on the export of gasoline and diesel fuel. These restrictions also applied to producing companies.
