A new border outpost complex, Hdzien, was officially opened in the area of responsibility of the Homiel border group. The ceremony was attended by Deputy Chairman of the State Border Committee Major General Ihar Hutnik, Deputy Chairman of the Homiel Regional Executive Committee Andrey Baranouski, border service veterans and members of the Dnyaprouski Rubezh military-patriotic club.
The Hdzien outpost guards more than 15 km of the land section of the border with Ukraine within Brahin District and is Belarus’s southernmost border outpost. The unit began service on November 25, 2022, the Belarusian State Border Committee said.
