A new complex for the “Kamaryn” border outpost was officially opened on May 27 in the area of responsibility of the Homiel Border Group. The ceremony was attended by First Deputy Chairman of the State Border Committee Andrei Filatau, Deputy Chairman of the Homiel Regional Executive Committee Andrei Baranouski, Chairman of the Brahin District Executive Committee Siarhei Karpenka, border service veterans and the “Young Friends of Border Guards” unit.
“The conditions that have been created will allow border guards to improve the effectiveness of fulfilling tasks related to protecting the state border,” the Belarusian State Border Committee press service said.
