Turkey’s Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said that 17 suspects and defendants wanted for various crimes had been brought to the country, including individuals sought under so-called Interpol Red Notices.
Belarus was among 11 countries that extradited detainees to Turkey. According to the minister’s statement, Belarusian law enforcement agencies handed over to their Turkish counterparts an individual identified as I.F., who was wanted under a Red Notice on suspicion of drug smuggling.
Others extradited to Turkey include suspects accused of murder, cybercrime, sexual offences against children, drug trafficking, organising illegal migration and other crimes.
