The Council of Ministers, by resolution No. 152 dated March 31, has established the fee for booking an entry date at border crossing points for freight vehicles. The document was published today on the National Legal Internet Portal and enters into force on April 1.
The fee for registration in the electronic queue system for entry into road border crossing points amounts to 31.5 base units (including VAT) for each freight vehicle when booking an entry date. For comparison, the fee for booking a date for passenger vehicles is 15.5 base units.
The government has also adjusted the distribution of funds from registration. Instead of 70%, Beltamozhservice will now transfer 60% of the funds to waiting area operators. As before, 10% will go to the State Border Committee. At the same time, when collecting the fee with a booked entry date, Beltamozhservice will transfer to operators and the State Border Committee only 0.5 base units from passenger vehicles and 1.5 base units from freight vehicles.
The resolution also contains one sub-clause classified “for official use only”.
