Belarus Forestry Ministry Raises Pellet Prices For Certain Consumers

The Ministry of Forestry, by resolution No. 4 dated March 18, has increased prices for fuel pellets for certain consumers. The document was published today on the National Legal Internet Portal and enters into force upon publication.

The wholesale price of pellets for organizations of the municipal ownership system of the Housing and Utilities Ministry, cement producers under the Architecture and Construction Ministry, and organizations of the Energy Ministry has been increased by 11.76 rubles to 179.76 rubles per tonne excluding VAT.

The wholesale price for other consumers, as well as retail prices, has not changed.

The Forestry Ministry’s resolution on price regulation for pellets has also been supplemented with a provision stating that it does not apply to the sale of pellets via the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange.
