Belarus and Gazprom discussed preparations for the autumn-winter season during a meeting between Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller, Belarusian Ambassador Yury Seliverstau and Energy Minister Dzianis Maroz. The talks took place on Thursday.
According to the Belarusian embassy, the meeting focused on current issues of cooperation in the gas sector.
“Particular attention was paid to the republic’s preparation for the autumn-winter season. It was noted that in January and February 2026, during the highest demand for gas in Belarus for these months in the past 10 years, consumers were reliably supplied with Russian gas. The gas transmission system, operated by Gazprom Transgaz Belarus, is functioning without interruption,” Gazprom added.
