On May 4, Alyaksandr Lukashenka signed a decree “On export customs duties on leather raw materials.” The document was adopted “to increase the competitiveness of leather goods on foreign markets and boost sales volumes.”
According to the decree, tanned semi-finished products exported from Belarus outside the Eurasian Economic Union will be exempt from export customs duties in 2026–2027, Lukashenka’s press service reported.
