Average spending by Belarusian households in 2025 amounted to 2,717.2 rubles per month. The National Statistical Committee published the results of a household sample survey on living standards for the past year. Earlier the committee reported the results for the fourth quarter.
Disposable resources include the monetary funds of households, the value of food products consumed that were produced in personal subsidiary plots minus the material costs of their production and/or received from other sources without payment, as well as the value of benefits and payments received in kind.
According to Belstat, in 2025 the average disposable resources per household amounted to 2,817.2 rubles per month, including 2,945 rubles in cities and urban-type settlements and 2,404.5 rubles in rural areas.
Cash expenditures of households averaged 2,717.2 rubles per month, of which 1,849.7 rubles accounted for consumer spending.
In the structure of expenditures, food accounted for 37.8%, purchases of non-food goods for 35.5%, and payments for services for 24.4%.
