Armenian cargo airline Hayways Cargo has begun operating flights to Orsha Airfield. The announcement was made by the press service of National Airport Minsk, which oversees the facility.

“Our Orsha branch continues to steadily expand its capabilities. Orsha Airfield primarily specializes in handling cargo flights.

Recently, it welcomed a new cargo airline, Hayways. The carrier plans to operate cargo flights to Orsha on a regular basis,” the statement said.

Hayways Cargo operates a single Boeing 737-400SF aircraft. According to the company, its route network includes airports in Russia, Hong Kong, India, Kazakhstan and Oman.

It should be noted that the Bremino-Orsha logistics complex, which is part of a special economic zone, is located near the airfield.

Another notable coincidence is that the Armenian airline has started flying to Orsha amid restrictions recently imposed by Russia on imports of Armenian vegetables, fruit and a number of other goods.
