Another drone that arrived from Belarus has been found near the Lithuanian border, the Lithuanian State Border Guard Service reported.
On Tuesday, April 21, Lithuanian border guards discovered a drone near the village of Katra in the Varėna district. A GPS tracker was attached to the device, and three packages of cigarettes were found nearby. Border guards set up an ambush, but no one came to collect the cigarettes.
The drone and the cigarettes — 600 packs of Minsk Super Slims — were taken to a border outpost. The value of the smuggled goods is estimated at 3,228 euros. Administrative proceedings have been initiated.
