Belarusian agricultural processors will be able to acquire equipment through leasing on preferential terms. This is предусмотрено by a joint resolution of the Council of Ministers and the National Bank No. 140/8 dated March 25, published today on the National Legal Internet Portal.
Under the document, processors will be able to lease equipment with an advance payment of at least 10%, a leasing term of five years, and remuneration to the lessor set at 1% per annum.
These terms will be available to Belarusian legal entities, including their separate subdivisions, engaged in the production of meat and meat-containing products, dairy products, flour and groats, bakery products and ready-made animal feed. Lists of eligible recipients and equipment will be determined by regional executive committees.
Financing of the leasing will be provided through the Development Bank of Belarus. In 2026–2030, it will extend loans to leasing companies totaling up to 216.1 million rubles, with repayment periods of up to five years and interest rates set at the National Bank’s refinancing rate.
