An “abnormal situation” occurred at Minsk CHP-3 on the evening of April 29, leading to a release of steam.
“Yesterday, April 29, at around 22:30, an abnormal situation was recorded at Minsk CHP-3, resulting in a steam release, which caused elevated noise levels in the area around the plant. At the same time, heat and steam supply to consumers within the responsibility zone of CHP-3 was not disrupted”, Minskenergo said.
The causes of the incident have been identified and устранены. Minskenergo said that planned works are being carried out during daytime hours “for the comfort of Minsk residents”.
