Base Value to Reach 45 Rubles on January 1

The base value will amount to 45 rubles starting 1 January 2026. It is increasing by 3 rubles compared with the rate in effect this year. The corresponding resolution was adopted by the Council of Ministers.

A number of benefits, scholarships, taxes and fees, fines, and other payments are tied to the base value. It is also used to determine the scale of damage in criminal law.

As a reminder, the base value was raised by 2 rubles on 1 January 2025. This year it stands at 42 rubles.
