Russian drones are bypassing Ukraine’s air defence lines during attacks on Volyn Region by flying through Belarusian territory, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on December 26, Hromadske reported.
“There is a problem in that they see our lines, the interceptor lines that we operate quite effectively, and they want to bypass them. They are bypassing them, by the way, thanks to Belarus as well — Belarusian territory. And technically — also thanks to Belarus,” Zelenskyy told journalists.
The Ukrainian president said he had instructed the military to address the issue.
“This is a serious matter. I have set all the tasks for the upcoming meeting of the general staff, there will be answers,” he said.
Zelenskyy also confirmed that his meeting with US President Donald Trump will take place in Florida on December 28 and outlined the topics to be discussed.
