The Ministry of Information has updated the “Republican List of Extremist Materials.” Among other additions, it included the YouTube channel “Pershy Region” and the Dzen page “Pershy.” The relevant decision was made on 7 April 2026 by the Hantsavichy District Court of Brest Region.
The updated list also includes the Dzen page “Ilya Varlamov” and the Telegram page “Afisha Belarusau Bostana.”
Belarusian authorities regularly use extremism-related charges to target political opponents and dissent in general.
