The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) says it has struck the Saky military airfield in occupied Crimea. Ukrainian drones targeted hangars used to store military aircraft.
“According to preliminary information, Su-30 and Su-30SM fighter jets were inside two of the hangars at the time of the strike. Following the attack, a fire was recorded in the hangar housing the Su-30SM, indicating that the target was successfully hit.
The estimated value of each such aircraft ranges from $30 million to $50 million, depending on its configuration,” the SBU said.
