Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya may visit Kyiv at the invitation of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in late February or March. Such timeframes are being discussed with the Ukrainian side, she said in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.
“We are currently discussing this with the Ukrainian side, and I hope it will be in February or March. Possibly at the end of February or the beginning of March,” she said.
She expressed hope that the outcome of the visit would be “the beginning of strategic consultations between the democratic forces of Belarus and Ukraine, because the situation in the region will change.”
“I am convinced that it is in Ukraine’s interests for Belarus to be a free, democratic state without Lukashenka and Putin,” she added.
