The Prosecutor’s Office of Minsk’s Maskouski District found at least 10 advertisements for the sale of magazines for Saiga rifles and Makarov pistols. They were posted on one of the popular classified ads websites.
The prosecutor’s office warned that posting such advertisements and purchasing the goods is considered illegal trafficking in components of firearms.
The head of the online platform was ordered to remove the advertisements. The requirement was fulfilled. The platform also took “organizational and technical measures aimed at preventing the posting of similar advertisements.”
Several days ago, the prosecutor’s office also reported the sale of firearm suppressors on one of the marketplaces.
