Transport Ministry Puts Draft on Unified Bus Ticket Sales System Up for Public Discussion

The Ministry of Transport and Communications has put up for public discussion a draft government resolution on implementing Decree No. 108, “On the Unified State Information System for the Sale of Travel Documents for Passenger Road Transport”. The discussion is being held on the legal forum through June 6.

The draft regulates the following issues:

  • creation of a personal account for each user of the ticket sales information system;
  • integration of information systems (resources) with the ticket sales information system;
  • submission of information on schedules and route maps, vehicles, road carriers, drivers and other data;
  • restriction and restoration of access to information systems (resources) that provide seat reservations and the sale of travel documents and baggage receipts without integration with the ticket sales information system;
  • submission by passenger terminal operators and drivers of information on sold travel documents and baggage receipts;
  • notification of passengers and individuals about cancelled services or services for which passenger transportation has been suspended.
