Tourism and International Relations Development Centre Established in Belarus

A new state enterprise, the Tourism and International Relations Development Centre, has been established in Belarus. The Council of Ministers has renamed the humanitarian and educational Republican Unitary Enterprise Centre for International Relations. The government’s Resolution No. 293 of June 11 was published today on the National Legal Internet Portal.

Along with the renaming, the Council of Ministers transferred the enterprise from the authority of the Ministry of Education to the National Tourism Agency.

The enterprise is responsible for implementing international educational programmes, creating conditions for the export of Belarusian educational services, organising seminars, training sessions and visits to exhibitions, as well as arranging tourism and educational excursion programmes for school and university students aimed at familiarising them with the cultural heritage and achievements of the Belarusian people and other nations.
