Belarusian Paralympian Raman Svirydzenka won a silver medal in the 10 km cross-country skiing race at the Paralympic Games in Italy.
Svirydzenka competes in the LW2–LW9 class (standing athletes with limb impairments). He won gold in the cross-country sprint event the previous day.
This year the International Paralympic Committee allowed athletes from Belarus and Russia to compete under their national flags. Belarus is represented by four athletes.
