Ukraine’s Security Service detained an informant for Russia’s FSB who directed Russian missile and drone strikes on Kramatorsk. The woman worked as a deputy school principal at one of the city’s schools.

The FSB became interested in the deputy principal during her trip to Belarus at the start of the full-scale war. The cooperation was activated in the summer of 2025.

The woman was tasked with tracking the locations of Ukrainian armed forces units in Kramatorsk. To do this, she walked around the city and recorded the largest concentrations of Ukrainian military personnel and equipment.

The deputy principal also tried to covertly obtain intelligence information from acquaintances during everyday conversations. She passed the information she obtained to her Russian handler through a messenger app.

SBU officers detained the woman at her place of residence. She has been charged with treason under martial law.
