Russia launched another large-scale attack on Kyiv. Air raid alerts remained in effect in the Ukrainian capital for 11 hours.
According to the city administration, damage and destruction were recorded at more than 30 locations. Apartment buildings were partially or completely destroyed. Emergency rescue operations are underway.
The deaths of nine people have been confirmed, while 34 others were injured. The death toll may rise.
Strikes were also recorded in Kyiv Oblast.
Poland scrambled fighter jets and raised the readiness level of its air defense systems during the attack.
