National Bank Names Winner of Contest for Best Graphic Symbol of the Belarusian Rouble

The National Bank of Belarus has named the winner of a contest for the best new graphic symbol of the Belarusian rouble. The winner is Vasily Shchebetun, who will receive a prize of 3,000 roubles.

The final version of the rouble’s graphic symbol will be approved on the basis of the winning entry.

The National Bank announced the contest in September this year. Nearly 2,700 entries were submitted. Five designs advanced to the final vote.
