A shipment of laundry detergent was attempted to be imported into Belarus with customs payments understated by 42,000 rubles, the press service of the State Customs Committee reported.

A SCANIA truck arrived from Poland at the Kazlovichy border crossing point. During inspection, it was found that the data in the shipping documents did not correspond to the actual cargo: instead of the declared shipment, the vehicle was carrying laundry detergent of significantly higher value. A total of 2,300 packages worth more than 150,000 rubles were not declared.

The Brest Customs Office has initiated administrative proceedings under Part 1 of Article 15.5 of the Code of Administrative Offenses against the Polish carrier. The sanction under the article предусматривает a fine of up to 30% of the value of the subject of the administrative offense.
