Migrants Attempted to Cross Only Into Lithuania on the First Day of 2026

Lithuanian border guards were the only ones to register attempts by migrants to cross the border from Belarus on the first day of 2026. The Lithuanian Border Guard Service reported three such attempts.

Border guards in Poland and Latvia recorded no border violations.
