The Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ), together with the MAZ-Kupava trailer and body plant, has presented its own motorhome. The “Kupava 273140” motorhome is built on the MAZ-365022 chassis.
The vehicle is equipped with a Euro-5 diesel engine producing 150 hp and a 6-speed manual gearbox. For comfortable and safe driving, the motorhome features an anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD) and electronic stability control (ESC). Both front and rear brakes are disc type.
The motorhome is fitted with a heated through-type luggage compartment, as well as mounts for two bicycles. The basic package includes a grill, skewers and a cauldron.
“Temperature control inside the cabin is also ensured by an air-conditioning system and two heaters, one of which is autonomous and can provide heating for up to 56 hours with the engine switched off — this allows the vehicle to be operated within a temperature range from −30°C to +40°C,” the MAZ press service reported.
The interior features two sleeping areas accommodating four people. The kitchen unit includes a gas hob and a 27-litre gas cylinder, an extractor hood, a sink with a mixer tap, a built-in cabinet with a 92-litre mini-fridge, as well as various compartments for kitchen utensils. The dining area consists of a table with cup holders and four seats, two of which swivel. A TV is installed capable of playing media from a USB flash drive or a video player. The bathroom includes a sink, toilet, shower and a retractable clothes-drying line.
The cabin is equipped with three roof hatches, a water heater (electric-gas boiler), liquid-level sensors for clean and grey water, and a connector for plugging the vehicle into an external power source.
