MART Found Shawarma Advertisement Devalued the Life of a Living Being

The Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade ruled that an advertisement for a catering establishment was inappropriate.

The order was issued to ArNivaBel LLC, which advertised a venue called “Shawarma”. The advertisement featured the text: “It hatched not for life, but for the perfect shawarma”, along with an image of a chicken and a knife.

“The outdoor advertisement in question violates generally accepted moral standards, as it devalues the life of a living being, violating the principles of humanity, and under the requirements of advertising legislation is considered unethical”, MART said.
