Aliaksandr Lukashenka has proposed easing the visa regime with the Philippines. The proposal was outlined in a message congratulating Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Independence Day.
Aliaksandr Lukashenka noted that this year marks the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. During that time, significant progress has been made in expanding ties, and promising areas for further development of bilateral cooperation in trade, economic, humanitarian and other fields have been identified.
Lukashenka also expressed confidence that the potential of interstate cooperation could be advanced through joint projects in food security and industrial cooperation, as well as through the simplification of the visa regime.
