The Emergency Situations Ministry has published information on the consequences of severe weather. Strong wind gusts were recorded across Belarus yesterday, with the maximum wind speed reaching 26 meters per second.
According to оперативной information, 229 cases of fallen trees were recorded in all regions except the Brest region. Fallen trees damaged 13 vehicles in the Vitsyebsk, Homiel, Minsk and Mahiliou regions, as well as in Minsk, while roofing elements damaged one vehicle in the Chashniki district of the Vitsyebsk region.
In addition, the roofs of two residential houses and eight agricultural buildings were damaged.
Yesterday, energy workers also reported disruptions to electricity supply in hundreds of settlements.
