“Digital Belarus” State Program Envisions Creation of Import-Independent Software Ecosystem

The government has approved the “Digital Belarus” state program for 2026–2030. It includes 21 measures, with 1.08 billion rubles planned to be allocated for their implementation, the government’s press service reported.

The program includes the subprograms “Data Economy,” “Digital State,” and “Digital Sovereignty.”

Within the framework of the state program, the following tasks are planned to be addressed:

  • providing communication services that meet the requirements of new economic formats and quality-of-life standards;
  • improving the quality of data in state information resources;
  • introducing applied digital solutions for the state, citizens, and business, including the use of artificial intelligence;
  • establishing a new quality of partnership relations between the state and society;
  • forming an import-independent software ecosystem.
