The Defence Ministry is beginning scheduled training exercises today with reservists in the Lepel and Chashniki districts.
A set of mobilization measures is planned to form territorial defence bodies and territorial troop units. The exercises will include the reception and provisioning of reservists. Command personnel will restore command and control skills, while reservists will undergo training to carry out territorial defence tasks.
“The training of reservists will focus on coordinated joint actions with employees of territorial internal affairs bodies and volunteers of the people’s militia while carrying out territorial defence tasks,” the Defence Ministry press service said.
