Car Nearly Crashes Into Crowded Bus Stop in Homiel — Video

In Homiel, a Renault car nearly crashed into a bus stop crowded with people. A video of the incident was published by the Homiel Regional Executive Committee’s Internal Affairs Directorate.

The footage shows the crossover skidding and heading straight toward the bus stop where people are standing. Fortunately, the vehicle came to a stop after mounting the curb.

According to the Internal Affairs Directorate, the cause of the incident was that the driver failed to take weather conditions into account when choosing his speed. The driver’s identity was established. He turned out to be a 42-year-old resident of Homiel.

He was held administratively liable. The man was fined 315 rubles and was also deprived of his driving license for six months.
