Brest Resident Fined for Conducting Excursions

A resident of Brest was fined for conducting excursions at the Western Fort of the Brest Fortress. He was penalized after a tax inspector attended one of the excursions.

On November 13, the Brest resident, who is not registered as an individual entrepreneur, conducted an экскурсия on the territory of the Western Fort of the Brest Fortress. This area does not belong to the Brest Fortress–Hero Memorial Complex. Among the participants was a tax service employee who carried out a test purchase.

For the excursion, the man received 1,000 Russian rubles and 150 Belarusian rubles. Fifty rubles from this amount were returned to the tax inspector. It was also established that the man conducted similar excursions on November 9 and 10, for which he received 360 rubles, according to the press service of the Economic Court of the Brest Region.

Administrative protocols were drawn up against the Brest resident for conducting entrepreneurial activity without state registration and for the illegal acceptance of foreign currency. The court imposed two fines of 630 rubles each. He was also required to forfeit the 1,000 Russian rubles received for the excursion, equivalent to 37.42 Belarusian rubles.
