BelGee plans to produce 10,000 electric and hybrid vehicles this year. The company’s director general, Hienadz Svidzierski, said this in an interview with SB.by.
“The plant’s plans for 2026 include the production of 10,000 electric and hybrid vehicles. Three models are expected to be manufactured — the Geely EX5, the Geely EX2, and the BELGEE X80 PHEV hybrid. Sales of these vehicles have exceeded our expectations. While we sold only 1,000 such cars during the whole of last year, this year we have already sold more than 3,000 vehicles,” he said.
Total production this year is planned at 90,000 vehicles. The same figure was achieved last year.
More than 400,000 vehicles have been produced since the plant was launched, with more than 100,000 of them sold in Belarus.
