Belavia has introduced new rates for additional checked baggage from June 1.
Passengers can purchase additional baggage when booking tickets on the airline’s website, at sales offices and through agents, as well as after purchase via the “Booking Status” section. Additional baggage can be added online no later than two hours before departure.
The cost of the service depends on the method and timing of purchase, as well as the route. Belavia has established three fare zones. The first includes Russia, the second covers the Middle East and CIS countries, and the third includes Vietnam, India, China, Thailand and Sri Lanka. As a result, the cost of an additional baggage item ranges from €40 in the first zone, when purchased together with a ticket for a bag weighing up to 23 kg, to €100 in the third zone under higher fare plans when purchasing offline for a bag weighing up to 32 kg.
