Belavia Adds Extra Flights To Vietnam And Sri Lanka

Belavia has announced additional flights to Vietnam and Sri Lanka. According to the airline, the first flight to the Vietnamese resort city of Nha Trang will depart on 20 March, with the second scheduled for 27 March. Initially, the flight program on this route had been planned to begin on 31 March.

The schedule for flights to Nha Trang is as follows:

  • Departure from Minsk – 00:30, arrival in Nha Trang – 15:30
  • Departure from Nha Trang – 17:30, arrival in Minsk – 01:10

Flights to Mattala in Sri Lanka are scheduled for 3 and 14 April. Earlier, flights to this airport had been planned to end on 24 March.

The schedule for flights to Mattala is as follows:

  • 3 April: departure from Minsk – 05:05, arrival in Mattala (Hambantota Airport) – 16:55. Departure from Mattala – 18:55, arrival in Minsk – 02:25.
  • 14 April: departure from Minsk – 11:00, arrival in Mattala – 22:50. Departure from Mattala is scheduled for the night of 15 April at 00:50. Arrival in Minsk – 08:20.

According to the Republican Union of Travel Organizations, citing tour operators, the additional flights were scheduled due to increased demand for these destinations. The rise in demand is most likely linked to the war in the Middle East.
