A Belarusian citizen was denied entry into Germany due to an incorrect type of visa, presseportal.de reported.
The 29-year-old Belarusian worked as a driver. At the Polish-German border, German police checked his documents and found a Hungarian tourist visa in his passport. The man explained that he works as a driver for a Kyrgyz company and that the visa had been arranged by his employer.
As the declared tourist purpose of the trip was not confirmed, the police annulled the visa and refused the Belarusian entry into Germany. He was sent back to Poland. The police also opened a criminal investigation into the use of a visa obtained by deception, as well as into illegal entry and stay.
