Alyaksandr Lukashenka has signed a law ratifying an agreement between Belarus and Myanmar on the elimination of double taxation with respect to income taxes.
The document provides for the elimination of double taxation on the income of tax residents of both countries. It also defines the types of taxes to which the agreement will not apply. In Belarus, this concerns corporate profit (income) tax and personal income tax, Lukashenka’s press service said.
In addition, the document establishes procedures for taxation and information exchange between the tax authorities of the two countries.
