A Consulate General of Belarus has opened in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
Today, Consul General Dzianis Mialeshkin met with Special Envoy — Head of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry’s Representative Office Zhanibek Abdrashov, who presented him with the exequatur.
The sides noted the importance of further cooperation in trade and economic, investment and socio-cultural matters, the Belarusian Embassy in Kazakhstan reported.
The decision to open the Consulate General in Almaty was adopted in May 2025.
